CVE.ICU is an innovative research project led by Jerry Gamblin. Aimed at facilitating a deeper understanding of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), this project is an automated system that systematically extracts all CVE-related data from the National Vulnerability Database (NVD).

The central purpose of this project is to conduct an essential data analysis, curate and graphically present the data in a comprehendible manner. This automated analysis is crucial as it aids in spotting patterns, enabling researchers and cybersecurity professionals to understand and anticipate security threats more effectively.

The source code for this project has been made available to the public for further development and utilization through a GitHub repository. This open-source approach promotes transparency, collaboration, and the potential for continual improvement by other developers and researchers in the field.

To ensure the data’s relevance and timeliness, these pages undergo daily updates facilitated by GitHub Actions. This automated process guarantees that the data on display is current, providing the most recent insights into the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

Jerry Gamblin encourages interaction and queries regarding the project, and he can be reached via his Twitter account @jgamblin for any questions or discussions you may wish to engage in about CVE.ICU.
